Water Tower
Water tower is an institution of the Matairangi Trail network, with years of abuse this trail had deteriorated significantly. Alongside Total Trail Solutions we completely upgraded and re-routed this trail to have bigger better turns - Perfect
Hospital Jumps
Hospital Jumps were previously an overgrown and under-utilised line on Super D. With help from our trail auditors Bryn Dickerson and Scotty Newman we’ve taken this small section of trial and turned it into an attraction for rides all over the city!
Saddle Jumps
Alongside Total Trail Solutions we completed the upgrade of saddle jumps, a great area for beginner/intermediate riders to get comfortable in the air.
NORTH FACE
After years of abuse from Wellington weather and thousands of bike tires, Mākara Peak’s original flow trail needed some work. We’re partnering with the Mākara Peak Supporters to return this underrated gem to it’s former glory.
JAIL BRAKE
To celebrate it’s 10th birthday, we funded a top-to-bottom rebuild of Jail Brake. It’s now a truly epic grade 4 progressive flow trail, with more tables, hip jumps, step downs and all the flow.
SERENDiPITY
We worked with the legends from Brooklyn Trail Builders to give this Wellington favourite a bit of a spruce up. New berms, rebuilt features, better drainage and some surface work has done wonders.
TE TUARA O MATAIRANGI
Working with the Wellington MTB Community and Wellington City Council, we gained approval to build a flow jumps trails on the eastern side of Alexandra Road in Mt Victoria. Te Tuarā o Matairangi (the spine of Matairangi) will be a 1.7km long trail when finished - stages 1 and and 2 are rideable now, and stage 3 is in construction!
